Honored to help service members transition to the next phase
Serve those who have served
Provide broadening internships with potential for employment
We are flexible. Supporting up to a 6 month opportunity.
Please coordinate your interest between your transition manager at your base overseeing the SkillBridge Program and fill out VeriTech’s screening application below. You will be notified by us if you are eligible for our program (eligibility does not guarantee an internship, but means we will attempt to match you with an internship). If you qualify, we will work with you to help you get approved for your service’s program.
See the next section on this page for SkillBridge Program rules/regulations by branch. You will need command approval to complete a fellowship, and fellowships must be completed during your last 180 days of active duty. Learn more about the DoD SkillBridge Program at: https://skillbridge.osd.mil/

VeriTech fills a unique consulting niche, with opportunities in cloud consulting, cybersecurity, data science, and technical program management.
I had an excellent CSP experience working with the Veritech team! I chose to a CSP because I wanted to gain experience that would be immediately relevant to a civilian career as I transitioned out of the Army. I had an interest into going into tech but lacked a deeper understanding of the industry. Working as an intern at Veritech was an excellent opportunity upskill and gain practical experience for civilian roles that I was targeting.
The Veritech team worked collaboratively with me to discuss my goals—such as gaining hands-on project experience in cloud technology and upskilling with certifications—and align my responsibilities with its lines of business that would allow me to meet those goals. Moreover, as a veteran-owned business, Veritech was very supportive and intentional about making time and space for me to prepare for my transition from closing out Army tasks to preparing for interviews. The team cared about my success not only in the internship but beyond.
I believe the experience I gained at Veritech, especially in relation to cloud technologies, provided skills that I could immediately demonstrate in interviews. In addition to helping me land my first role outside of the Army, the CSP eased my transition by giving me a period of time to start adjusting to a civilian role even as I concluded my Army service. A more abrupt change would have been harder to navigate.
To future candidates, I would certainly recommend a CSP/DoD Skillbridge. The first job hunt after the military can be a daunting and exhausting process. A CSP/Skillbridge creates an acceleration ramp to focus on that process.
When it comes to choosing an internship provider, the key things to consider are whether the CSP provider can give you good experience for the types of roles you plan to target in your first job outside of the military and whether the CSP provider will support your transition in a broader sense (upskilling, interview prep time, military appointments, etc.). I would highly recommend Veritech if a role in technology is something you are considering!
Overall, I had a great learning experience with VeriTech during my Career Skills Program (CSP). The program offered me an opportunity to tackle a complex technical project, coordinate and manage my own project milestones, and work with a teammate to deliver technical solutions to challenging subtasks. Importantly for me, I also had a lot of fun in the process!
I decided to join VeriTech for my CSP due to both its reputation and the exploratory freedom it offered. Having several friends recommend VeriTech’s leadership, I knew that I wanted to intern with a company that promised fun technical challenges while helping me prepare and search for future employment.
Reflecting on my CSP, I can confidently say that the skills I honed during that time have directly translated into my current employment. Specifically, I practiced deconstructing a large technical project into components while setting and meeting realistic deadlines for these subtasks. I then had the opportunity to employ and refine my skills with a variety of cybersecurity tools. Conveniently, I currently work with some of these same cybersecurity tools I practiced implementing during my CSP. Additionally, during my CSP I benefited from working closely with a teammate to divide the responsibility for the technical subtasks. We had to maintain frequent communication to ensure consistent progress, jointly solve any difficulties, and report on any decisions that needed higher-level input.
One of the aspects I especially enjoyed about my CSP was the balance VeriTech provided between independence and guidance. While I had the freedom to explore and implement my own technical solutions, VeriTech gave me the necessary structure and support to ensure I did not get too focused on a technical path without considering alternatives. If a particular technical route proved to be more difficult than I anticipated, VeriTech helped me consider alternatives or provided additional resources to help me overcome the challenges.
For future transitioning service members considering a CSP with VeriTech, I highly recommend that they embrace the opportunity to delve deeply into a technical project with VeriTech as it really helped me understand projects outside of a DOD context. However, I really want to emphasize taking the opportunity to leverage the business mentorship offered by VeriTech employees. For me, the Army abstracted a lot of the logistical and financial practicalities of decisions that are encountered in running a business. However, even now as a cybersecurity technician not in a formal management position, I have greatly benefited from understanding more of the business context. When presenting options for a particular technical challenge to my current employer, I gain a lot more traction if I have taken the time to consider how to integrate my proposals into the overarching business planning.
